Sugoi sugoi sugoi!

(Bonus-mega-geek points to anyone who can figure out what that was a reference to. Said person might also need a life.)

WAI!!! ^____^ I'm back from Kodachicon!!! Whee!

...

...okay, so I never told you guys I was going. Life didn't like me very much this week, so I simply didn't get around to write anything here since, uhm, Wednesday? If that goes as an excuse, that is. Anyway, yay, I'm back from Kodachicon, which for those who don't know is a rather small but extremely cozy anime con in Lund, Sweden. I went there with my friend Sigge (who is NOT a boy) and despite some language troubles, we had a completely wonderful time. We tried out Guitar Hero (which I suck at. Suck as in 'cannot get through I love Rock 'n' Roll on the easy setting, that is.), watched Mushishi, Ouran High School Host Club, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Paradise Kiss, and, most importantly, met a multitude of very cool and funny people. Here's a shout-out to Amanda (I'm pretty sure your name was? Kick me if I'm wrong), who takes the price of being the first reader that I DIDN'T know beforehand I've met in real life. I promise I'll stop sucking so much with the updates, Amanda. ^_~

And then there was the swag. Oooh yes, the swag. Stuff was actually surprisingly cheap at Kodachicon, much more reasonably priced than at J-popcon (not that that has ever stopped me from buying too much stuff there), and I got some pretty good things: Posters of FLCL and Full Moon wo Sagashite, a Keroro Gunsou figurine and paperclip, and, most importantly, a thoroughly awesome Arina Tanemura artbook that Sigge and I won collectively in the auction! Much to my surprsie, I actually won second place in both the drawing competition and the cosplay masquerade (collectively with Sigge; for best group sketch) and of course, that brought a lot MORE swag with it: More posters, a Tamama Nitouhei plush, a drawing manequin and Sorcerer Hunters vols 2, 10 and 11 (yes, that is going to make great sense when I read it. -_-;). I also got a Totoro poster and a Sailor Venus keychain because none of the people who won first place in the cosplay competition (an impressive 10-person Fullmetal Alchemist group) wanted them. I like free stuff. :3

As you might get, all this 'wai' and 'whee' and 'sugoi' is really supposed to hide the fact that I don't have an update for tomorrow. Obviously. I mean, what do you think I am, a responsible artist? Come ON! Still, don't fret people, because Mr Filler 2006, Skyen, supplied me with a cute little filler a while ago that I didn't put up during the summer since my schedule was so sucky then that having fillers would've been laughable - but now, I'm at least supposed to update, so up it goes. ^_^;

Oh, and by the way, tomorrow is my birthday! *winkwinknudgenudge* 19 years is a high age in my book...

((BTW, YES, you WILL get your Iceland report. Just... not right now, since I really need sleep. x_x Sorry.))

*Phew!*

Wow - finished just on the stroke of midnight! Yes, I am aware that there is no shading on this page, and that a few details are off/missing, but still, OMGTWOUPDATESINAROW! I haven't done that since, uhm...

...

I haven't done that in a LONG time.

(Also, yes, I still owe you a report of my Icelandic journey. Don't worry, you will NOT be spared! In fact, depending on how much OTHER work I have, it just might go up tomorrow...)

I need sleep.
